BACKUP YOUR DATA anyway, even if it says you can reinstall Windows without destroying your data.

You need a Win XP Pro Boot CD and reinstall the OS.

to format without in installing anything type int he command "format c:" without the quotes
it should ask if you are sure

*Remember to backup your document

Or get a bootable Cd and restart it should say press any key to bot from cd read the text below and follow the instructions (eg like F8 to accept agree ment )
