Girlfriends, when you wear a dress to church do you prefer to sit with legs crossed or knees together?

Well I am not a girl or woman but a man, & I would like to say something if you don't mind since you address this to womens. My wife wears long dresses down to her ankles, No there is nothing wrong with a dress down to your knees or a little below your knees, But above your knees, Yes, that is wrong, Now I do NOT make my wife wear dresses down to her ankles, she was like that when I met her 16 yrs. ago, Yes I am grateful that she wears these type of dresses, So my wife can easily cross her legs.

alternate ! Although crossing legs properly for CHURCH is at the ankles. Anywhere else ... cross at the knees.

Crossed legs are assumed to be the right and modest way but they're not. Crossed at the ankles with knees together is much more appropriate and you won't go numb.

My mother taught me- that in the Greek Orthodox church, the women have to sit with their knees together. It is impolite and rude to sit with ur legs crossed in church. This applies for men as well!!

you must put your legs together because if anyone is on the platform they can see up your dress if your legs are crossed even if the dress is to your knees when you are sitting. tryst me the guys all ways say it is the old women who think they are careful that are really flashing the musicians during church

Did you know that crossing your legs will cause blood clots? This is WHY your legs go numb...circulation stops or is slowed. Once that happens the natural result is for blood to attempt to clot. A blood clot can kill you with a heart attack, a stroke, a clot to the kidneys or stomach or lungs.
