islamic clerics blatantly preach death to americans, why are they so upset of pope's speech? truly islamic faith is intolerant and uncivilized... peace to islam as you damn **** say all the time but you kill innocent kids and women.

I finally went and looked up what the Pope said and wow did he make an error. He chose badly when trying to make his point. I agree that he should apologize, this is not how we love others, by pointing out that everything they do is evil lol.
What concerns me is why he mentioned it at all in his speech. The correlation he was trying to make was weak at best.
Then I read further down in the article that he said last summer : The problem with Islam, the Pope told delegates, was that unlike Christianity, which distinguished (in Christ’s words) between “that which is God’s and that which is Caesar’s”, Islam sought to “ integrate the laws of the Koran into all elements of social life".
My goodness, talk about putting your foot into the muck! He really stepped into it that time as well lol. Poor Pope, he's trying, but dang if he's not making a fool of himself.

Hollywood and the media show a blatant disrespect for my faith all the time, and I laugh and try to understand where they're coming from. I'm representing my faith in my reaction. Aren't rioting, violent Muslims doing the same in their reaction?
Ya know, a long time ago I watched a "Care Bears" show with my daughter and saw a story about one of the characters being mean, and one of the "slighted" Care Bears said, "wow, in order to get them to change, we need to be EXTRA nice to them!" Don't know who wrote that story, but that stuck with me.
