I can see from these answers who the "real" Christians are. It's the ones who insist on defining who "others" are. We'll never have peace on earth if people don't start accepting others for who they are instead of judging them. Don't they realize that the Roman Catholic Church was the ONLY church in the West until the early 16th century? If they think of it as a "cult", what does that say about Christianity as a whole?

Cult is an extremely subjective word defined by the majority. Anything that differs too far from the majority is cast off as a "cult" religion.

It's a flat out cult, they pray to dead people, skew the scriptures to declare Mary as co-redemptrix and Queen of heaven, purgatory can't be found in the bible at all, and Peter never started a church. The history of this cult has the blood of millions of innocent people on it's altars, they have laundered money for the mafia, smuggled Nazis out of Europe, hid away the pedophile priests, etc.

That depends on who you listen to. Former members and Jack Chick would be apt to tell you that it is a cult. Others would not be so quick. The problem is that the things that they say about salvation for example are not found in the Bible.

I do not believe that there is a true church that is represented in one Christian denomination.
The true church is made up of individual believers who are in love with God and are trusting Him as there Lord and Savior.
If you look hard enough, you will find error in every denomination. God will take those people who are believing and doing his will.
