When I was 5 I was in hospital for 3 months with no cure for a type of anaemia I had developed through an extremely amateur doctor. All doctors had given up on me and I was heading for lights out. My granny got hold of a Padre Pio prayer card with a piece of the great man's cloth sewn into it. My Dad swears that praying to PP helped my recovery, I'm 33 now and that illness has long gone. My Dad still holds the prayer in his wallet. Of course I'll pray too.

According to some recent research, those prayed for actually fared less well in hospital than those that were not prayed for.
You may want to reconsider your request.
