How do i get to system restore without having to open the start menu like from the my computer section

look i cannot see my start menu or even my desktop...IDK y it says normalize.dll was not found so i want to use system restore to go back when i c ould see my start panes and my desktop so i want to use it can i run it using run or where is the application to open it...

Yes go 2 Windows safe mode ( press F8 using start up) They'll ask u if u want to use system restore or run on a special diagnostic mode first.u can directly go 2 system restore that way. Safe mode is better if u want 2 do system restore or scan for viruses/spywares. Spywares,viruses and Adwares are most vulnerable in safe mode .But u cannot use windows to the fullest extend. Limited to basic needs like virus scanning,spyware removal etc. There is no other way 2 get system restore, either by opening "My Computer" or doing anything else except going 2 start menu.
SYSTEM RESTORE is most effective in safe mode, though it takes more time 2 restore.

Press the widows button on you keyboad then accessories/system tools/restore the the button is next to ctrl key both sides of keyboard at the bottom

why u ask that?you are lazy to go in start menu?i really don't understand
