I am a person who likes to change cars often, since I started driving in the mid 1960 s I have owned about 25 cars. The last four have been Renault's. I bought a new Scenic 1.9 diesel Oasis in June. Although it doesn't have the sleek lines of the Laguna ( my last car ), it is lovely to drive with plenty of power when you need it. The only problem I have had is that the radio stopped working and had to be replaced. I have to admit that I wish I had gone for the Scenic Grand, as the boot is a bit on the small side on the Scenic. The overall answer to your question is a definite YES.

Yes.

It you don't want a car as big as the Scenic - the Renault Modus is good, I've been driving the Modus for about four months now and done over 10,000 miles and no problems with it.

A confortable, smooth drive and good technology.

Although I might not say that when it's been serviced in two weeks.

A renault scenic car is a good car, because it's popular, easy
to drive, seating comfort, good safety features and economy
in it's petrol consumption.
I would definitely recommend this renault car.

Anything continential is good. Don't buy Japanese vehicles because they will still run even with a problem. When the problem takes a turn for the worst, the car finally stops and goes into a 'coma' and it's chances of surviving is low. Renault will wail even for a small problem which ensures it's health.

P.S. Please don't give this 'best answer'

i highly recommend the renault scenic. it has great interior space, great to drive as you sit higher and you can see all around you, its great to look at and the boot space is big enough for anything. then you have the grande scenic which gives you 2 extra seats. i just love it. if you dont have one.....go get one, you`ll love it !!

My dad jut got rid of one and replaced it with a Ford Focus C-Max.
He reckoned the Scenic was rubbish.

Not bad, But there are better. Try the VW Touran. I've had to drive both lately and found the VW a better drive. Both were diesels and the VW TDI just had miles more grunt.

Its good, safe, spacious, cheap, but my mates a renault specialist and said that the head gaskets are going on the earlier 1.6 16v models. maybe down to neglect.
