I know it needs a pin code, but when a pin code has been input incorrectly 3 times it locks out. Does anybody know how to by pass the lock out?

If it's an older style stereo try putting it in the freezer for an hour and then try it again. Seriously, it works!

you can bypass the code .. but you must remove the radio and take it to car car audio shop where they will put it on a computer and recode it , it costs about 10 pounds
the other way is ask a main dealer if they can supply you with the original code when the car was new

sometimes its on the bottom of the stereo.
