You can cater for private parties, cook at their home and the few cooks I've met earn a very good living that way.
All u need is finish the school - know a few rich people and if your cooking is great, the word will spread (from one rich to the other).
U could also cater for them in their own villas during holidays....the only thing is in working out how to get in touch with the right snobs!

it can be a rewarding career if you have a passion to cook, you would also have to give up evenings and most holidays, the pay can be good but it depends on your skill level, and what you are cooking. if you become really good you could land a job catering to v.i.p. or even a television show.

from what I've heard, it's easy to end up in a dead-end job cooking at Red Lobster or something unless you're constantly dedicated to furthering your career.. but your wife will love you if you're a good cook!

well, if it is your dream and if you have the talent, go for it. You know, on my entire life I never saw people who enjoy eating as much as Americans. Boy, that's something.............and before you ask, I am Brazilian but I really love the US.
