I have known this guy for two years as a friend and its only recently that w started dating. He is super ambitious and I am okay with that. The thing is that in this workaholic phase, he often fails to call or make plans. I usually make all plan. The best thing is that he never lets go of a chance to each other. He is quick to accept my plans and is always super loving when we meet or talk. But I am not sure where this is going. One more thing, I am not the type he was looking for but fell in love eventually because he feels I am super sweet. I wanna know if as a third person, do you see any real long term potential in this relationship.

I do not think you have anything to worry about, just do the things that you are doing, and everything should go smoothly. May be he has a goal, that is why he is working so much. Stop worrying about the small stuff, just enjoy each other.

Only you know that, really. If he loves you and you can feel it...then there is potential but if you don't feel that he loves you enough...then there's really no hope. You have to see the nature of his job, why he works so hard (insecure, poor background, a desire to prove himself) and if so you can communicate what you've written here to him in person. Tell him how you feel and be glad that he's compromising enough to take you wherever you want to go (maybe he doesn't want any conflicts) and see how well you both get along with each other.

well honestly i see a on and off click like you two will date on and off sometimes and i see your relationship will develop you mentioned you just "recently" started dating maybe he has to get use of the atmosphere of you two dating instead of being friends

yes ofcourse,i eman what else would you ask for in a guy...he is ambitious which means he can give you a good life,he is loving and respects your plans and suggestions...he is just apt....just be supportive and loving and life will be a dream come true for you!!good luck!!
