Do you think there's going to be a World War 3? If so, what countries do you think will be involved?

I think if there is an actual world war that goes beyond the Middle East, the main players would be the United States and the People's Republic of China. China is the new superpower and they do openly want to contest the US for global influence. If China attacks Taiwan, we're screwed. I don't know if the EU or Russia would join, but I know Japan and South Korea would join us against China any day. Europe would stay neutral, but Russia may or may not fire their missiles at Beijing instead of Washington. India might also try to snatch Tibet while the fascists are off guard. France doesn't need to surrender, they emerged victorious over the Germans in World War I. Conservatives definitely don't know anything about history, eh?

Have you heard of the Yom Kippur war in 1973, Israel vs a coalition of Arab nations....Egypt, Syria and Jordan. That was worse than the current situation.....it didn't raise a blip on the world war scenario (not that it didn't have the potention as a spark)...just relegated to the heap of regional conflicts between rump states. When the strategic super powers square off into two camps, then come back and we'll talk world war.

Until then, just think regional conflicts, proxy wars, and brinksmanship.... After the next world war, we'll be back into the stone age and you won't have to worry whether a world war III occurred or not.
