I'm sixteen and i don't have a driving license whereas my boyfriend is seventeen and has a driving license. He doesn't have a car and doesn't dare to lend his parent's car as he isn't close with them(he lived with his grandparents when he was small). We haven't met for seven months and i'm starting to get tired of everything. When i see my friends with their boyfriends doing all kinds of fun things i just feel so jealous. He said he could cycle to meet me if i want but i think its too dangerous and he hasn't even asked me out, it's always when i start to talk to him about not meeting then he will say "if u really want to meet me i can cycle to meet u." I feel this answer is very insincere. Should i break up? I think i do love him.
P.S: we've only met once in february.

you mean you've only met him once? how can you manage to keep that going? but if you can do that without ever seeing each other, dont break up because imagine how it would be when you can see him more. by saying he can cycle to meet you, he's just giving you a chance to tell him what you want, cause he's not really sure. he doesnt know if you want to see him or if you have other reasons for saying that. you say you think you love him, so tell him that, and say thats why you want to meet him. let him come, unless its really dangerous to cycle there. but if he's 17 it should be ok.
dont take what people on here say very seriously though. i mean listen to them but we dont know you or your boyfriend so its hard to give good answers. this is just what im thinking. good luck...

how can you love someone that you've only met once? If you both live in the same town and you can't figure out how to spend time together whats the point. Having a boyfriend that you don't see or spend time with is just a phone buddy Get out there and meet a guy that can and will spend time with you. If this guy wanted to spend time with you he wouldn't ask to cycle over he would just do it. Move on

If you love someone then it is a natural thing to want to spend so much time with them. Is he saving up for a car? Do you spend any time together? Do you see each other at school only? You should be spending more time on your studies than worrying about boys.

well there are things more important than the transport (car). how can you say that you are in a relationship, when you barely go out or is it never gone out? of course you could be in those long-distance thingies.. but the effort to meet up some place would do you guys good.

If he truly liked you he'd find a way into meeting you and that is obviously not how he feels. My suggestion is tell him to start coming over regularly with the guilt trip, or he is out the door and find someone willing to meet with you and who likes you for you.

If he would go to such lengths to get to you.....even in a cycle...and I think it is somewhat romantic...kinda like those novels...then he is worth giving a thought....never mind what your other friends are doing and you don't have to be jealous of them......how do you know that they live such happy lives????....it is you who is having this relationship with him not your friends!!....alternately, you could meet him half way! What have you got to loose?
