This is just crazy. And what's even crazier is the fact that both me and my boyfriend had spinach salad mix the night before the big news. I freaked out of course, especially reading that somebody actually died from it and many others are sick. Luckily we're both okay, no symptoms or anything, even though I heard the symptoms might show up later on. Now what makes me think is, maybe other fruits or vegetables from the same or similar family might be containing E Coli too, and the researchers might not find out right away. Spinach isn't my most favorite thing to eat, but I did enjoy the spinach salad mixes, and a few other dishes. Oh well, who knows maybe it'll come back!

Listen the best thing to do is not eat spinach. The news said it killed a little kid but only God knows the truth. Maybe that kid got a heart problem or something from something else. Maybe he didnt. Maybe it was reaaly because of the spinach. I just listen to the news. Its the most accurate. By the way, people that answered you should eat the spinach. How?? All the stores got rid of their spinach. How you going to continue to eat spinach? Just listen to the news. They have the most accuracy. If you want to continue eating spinach you could but Im not taking a risk. All the spinach at my house got thrown away already. You should do the same.

I used to eat spinach leaves all the time, even for snacks, but kept finding myself becoming ill from it, and so the rest of the bag would go uneaten. It's only been within a period of about a year though. Before that, the spinach gave no problems.
I'm the only one in the house who loves it, and I relied on it (in the past) for calcium and such. More recently I had been leaving it to sit in the fridge after a quick wash and bite. So...I'm guessing either it's coz I was sick all the time I didn't want it or it's part of why I was sick all the time. I'd already found new sources of calcium and iron, before the news even came out. The news doesn't affect me deeply; it just means I will be more likely to avoid wasting fridge space on spinach.
My mother-in-law called three times about it after the news came out though. They must be really scaring the folks in Cali!

Its okay, just avoid organic spinach, its grown in animal faeces and washing doesn't remove the dangerous E. coli. Other spinach is okay to eat. To be safe, I would skip all organically grown vegetables.

Just toss out any pre-packged bagged spinach until they find the cause and correct it. Otherwise spinach is a great veggie.

.i don't think of eating places or any public ingesting place is serving clean spinach nor will you hit upon any food market or farmers marketplace or everywhere they sell produce presently merchandising clean spinach by potential of itself or any salad combinations or perhaps cooked till they have familiar precisely the place the E-coli got here from.although they think of it got here from California it hasn't publicly been declared yet as valuable. i think of once you weigh doing without spinach for awhile , getting extraordinarily ill or perhaps danger loss of life everyone with any experience will consume different vegetables for lots are available for awhile. no person's wellbeing is going to be extraordinarily compromised by potential of doing without spinach for a protracted as its needed to consume and revel in it lower back without danger.

Jezus H Christ. First eggs were good for us, then they were bad, then they were good, then only the whites were. Tomatoes cured cancer....but they were deadly, then carrots healed all, but wait beta-carotine overdose!
Is milk good or bad?
No one knows. All these health rules and no one knows anything about health.
Forget what people say. Eat when you're hungry, eat what you want, and eat in moderation and you'll be fine.
Infected spinich? Where did it get the E coli from? A meat plant? Stick to fresh spinich and you're fine.

No, keep eating spinach. Rinse all produce very well. It is all grown in "fertilized" fields. Throw away the current stuff. Wait a week, and then go by some more.
