Billions.

The funny thing is that while everyone kicks and moans about how much "big business" is making of off poor little us, it is the government that makes far more money from tobacco, booze, and gasoline than any private business.

Run a search to see what percentage the government gets in taxes on each of the above and you might be amazed.

Most states make 10 times as much on cigarettes than they do liquor.
