I had the same problem with puppy number three, I just started taking him for little walks around our yard to get him motivated,
pups with often do their duty after they have had a little exercise.
he picked to go behind a particular bush in the front yard, but he did his business.
have patience! Good luck!

It's 11 weeks old, give the poor thing a break.
Take her outside and make her stay out until she goes. She has no idea that she isn't supposed to go in the house yet.
Use the piddle pads like others have suggested and keep them in one area. When she gets used to them being there and is using them, slowly move them to the door. This way, when you see her going for the pad, you can take her out instead. She'll eventually get the hint that she should do her potty jobs outside. Leave the pad down just in case, though.
It isn't going to happen over night, you could be looking at something that will take up to six or seven months to accomplish. Also remember, that on an average, that for every month of age, they can hold it for an hour. That's an average, not a rule.

Hi! So happy to hear that you finally got a pug after all of those years! I have a pug as well, going on 4 years now, and I am here to tell you that training isn't always easy but don't give up! First, the biting at your feet. My pug will only do that if I am running with him. I know that you feel bad after punishing him but it really is what they need. It's not like you can just tell him no and he will automatically understand you like a human would. If you nudge him away with your foot he will thiwashat you are playing. He will learn by actions and punishment. When my pug was a puppy I got into the habbit of sometimes feeding him out of my hand so to this day he will lay on my and want to nibble at my hand, but nothing like trying to bite. I think with that you just have to be firm as well. As far as sleeping on you that is completely natural for a pug that isn't crate trained. I tried to train my pug to go into a crate but I am a softy and it wasup in bed with me he went. They keep you pretty warm. My dog has seperation anxiety...HUGE! He is constantly with someone so I guess that is what drives it. I don't really have a solution for this. One way to get him to stop peeing in his crate is if you leave him in there to sleep. Normally, dogs will not go to the bathroom where they sleep so if he knows that is his bed it should eliminate that issue. Having a male dog (any breed) you will find that they like to leave their mark so get him potty/ house trained as soon as you can. I am sure there are people in your area that specialize in this as well, it won't hurt to ask for help. I have always heard that if your pet gets nuetered it will calm them down. Mine isn't so I can't say whether or not that is true. Overall, I would say that he is just being a puppy. They are really great dogs and wonderful companions. I wish you the best of luck with your little guy.

Having 4 Labrador Retrievers the best way I found to "house break" a dog is by using a kennel.
It will take about 2 weeks (if that long) to train them to go outside. A dog will try his/her best not to fumigate their sleeping environment. Thus said when you leave to go to work or shopping place the child in their kennel (after they have been outside). Once you arrive back home the first thing you should do is let them go outside. The first thing they will do is relieve theirselves. Be sure and compliment them for holding it while you were gone -praise them highly. At first stay gone about 2 - 3 hours and let them out first thing when you arrive back home. Try doing this over the weekend. You may think this is some what torture but they will soon get the idea/hang of it and you both will be comfortable with the situation. While you are home be sure to put them out regularly - every few hours or so. DO NOT put food or water in their kennel with them. This would be like locking you in a closet with a 12 pack of beer (if you get my drift). They may relieve their self in the kennel the first couple of times but this is the training method. They poop in the kennel they will have to suffer thru it till you get back home - understand?
They will also associate the kennel as their "space" in your home. You will be surprised at how often they will sleep/rest in it while you are home. We have our kennel in the living room and our children usually take turns sleeping in them.
We only have one that is required to stay in their room while we are gone now because she is still a little destructive. Good luck...

Ok first get the dogs attention if nessasary you can grab thier upper lip and pinch it .. Second don't smear his face in it but make sure it knows why your mad . Don't use a lot of words keep it simple . Like "bad dog" and then put it out side .. another way to disipline is tap them on the nose don't hit to hard the nose is very senistive ..also when it does go outside make sure to praise him/her . again be simple .. also use the same words each time . animals are smart . they understand voice inflection and simple commands . using indoor pads also helps but to me that is not actually fixing the problem

Keep her outside until she goes. Bring her in immediately afterward so she knows that the action of urinating or deficating means that she gets to go back inside. Good Luck - Oh and you can train her to go on command - every time she starts to poop say 'hurry' and w/i a few months she should only go when you say 'hurry' so then you can take her out - say that word and she will go and come back inside.

Get a great product called Piddle Pads. They have a scent in them that attracts dogs to go on them and not the floor. I use them for my little dogs when they can't go outside, like when I'm not home or it's raining. Drs Foster and Smith.com has them a a great price.

scold her when she poops in the house. do not hit her just say bad dog very sternly. when she poops outside say good girl like a million times and give her a treat. soon she will relize that she can only poop outside.
GOOD LUCK! :-)

Go here for an awesome dog training program http://OnlineDogTraining.enle.info/?9CLp

Since it is obvious that you do not have a clue about obedience training, your services should be for free. You cannot train even an adult dog for 8 hours a day. About the most that can be done at any one time is 10 - 20 minutes and that is with an adult dog and not a puppy. The attention span on this baby is extremely short and training session should be no more than 10 minutes and twice a day. Additionally, there isn t going to be much learned if you will only be training for 5 days. Obedience training is cumulative and is done over a much longer period of at least several weeks to several months.
What you can charge is determined by your experience, reputation, and accomplishments and in a case like this, should also include guaranteed expectations. Just working with dogs over several years, is not the experience that is necessary to be a dog trainer. There are too many people who are putting that title to their name and fleecing the public. Don t be one of them.

Sorry but I don't think you can. Unless you go outside with and make sure she does what she has to do. You should train her that doesnt work because my granpas puppy was just like that.
