Well it certainly has lots of interesting themes.
The endurance of love through time - his wife he leaves behind and the love affair and child he has on the show.

Freewill v destiny and the existence of good and evil in the universe were beautifully investigated especially in the final episode.

What is the impact of our lives upon those around us - how are we all connected.)

I loved it.

I seem to be the only one though ;-)

I know that Scott Bakula appeals to me...oh wait..that's not spirtual...hmmm...

There were definitely strong good versus evil themes and righting the wrongs in that program. I also liked that the character was put into roles that required him to see someone else's view point..whether it was a pregnant girl or a black during the Civil Rights movement in the South....and required him to make moral choices.

Loved the series....and the fact that Scott Bakula is easy on the eyes never hurt.

Shirk (particular, it quite is his call) is the different. he's slightly on the different end of the spectrum. He became training to be a expert-wrestler (6'9...4 hundred+ lbs), with a reasonably nicely time-honored group (hell, he ruptured 2 discs in my back helping him paintings interior the hoop, and he remains one in all my closest friends...says something). he's the previous college punk who not at all fairly enable circulate of the insurrection. He presently lives 4 states and 6 hundred miles away, yet as quickly as we do social gathering, that is like there hasn't been a single day long handed by ability of. those 2 adult males have been with me by way of each and everything interior the final 15 years, and that i don't see that changing each time quickly.

I'm guessing you didn't see the finally when God explained to him why he kept leaping into the lives of people who needed his help. Yeah it was Christian Scifi, very subtle most of the way but definately religious.
