he ran a mile down the road and keeled over. the vet said not to worry , that he only ran out of gas. should i believe him, or get a second opinion?

I think you need a new dog. One mile on a quart is terrible gas mileage. I am sure you can find a more economical model.

Are you bored! If he drank a quart of gas he would have died with in seconds after drinking it!!

Try this put a match near him. You'll find out if he still has gas left in him or not.
