Doctors in China are most likely be hurted both physically and psychologically no matter how hard he work and how much he devoted himself to his patients . You may have never heard that a neurosurgeon's income is less than a janitor' s. You may have never heard that the medical community in China as a whole are being attacked and abused.

Yes I saw a documentary on becoming a western doctor. Its really hard, these people have to venture into the woods and actually collect specimens to analyze them and learn their biological and chemical structures. Chinese medicine has a total different approach than western medicine and considers the body as a whole. As for the abuses and pay, china is a huge underdeveloped country were life isn't pretty.

Every country's life standarts are different. Yes for a communist country, it is expected for the doctors to have such a low income, but the problem must be to find anyone to become a doctor..Who would afford all that long and difficult education process for a nothing in plus and moreover a great physical and mental corrosion related with the responsability and weight of this hard work? I wouldn't even think of being a doctor there..poor China people..

China is a communist country. All people are called either workers or peasants. All workers get paid the same. Doctor is a medical worker. So he is paid low. Government decides who should go to medical college. Indian students are going to study medicine . Total fee for five year course is American $1000-00. Native doctors in China have to survey every house and verify if anyone is sick. The sick must be treated at door step. These junior doctors or medical workers are calle barefoot doctors.
