In true buddhism, there is no belief (there are many, however, who treat the concepts as beliefs and even mix ancestor worship and other beliefs in). There are the teachings and concepts of the Buddha that are supposed to be used as tools to get to the same experience (enlightenment/experience of god - if u want to call it that) that the Buddha had. Buddhism uses concepts such as 'rebirth' (which is VERY VERY different from reincarnation; in fact, the Buddha developed this concept as an expedient means to counter the problems occurring with the Hindu belief in reincarnation). In terms of resurrection, this concept is not part of what the Buddha taught would be helpful in getting to his experience because it posits the existence of a self/soul (and this unreality of the self is at the heart of his teachings). Bottom line: as the buddha said, all of these beliefs and concepts are not truth and just rafts to get to the other shore' (once you have the experience, the concepts and beliefs are meaningless).
