Jesus is the "Word" become flesh. Before Jesus was born in the flesh He was in heaven with a glorified body. After Jesus died in the flesh and went back to heaven, He was once again "glorified". A "glorified", Holy, Spiritual body. Just as He had before He left heaven to be born of a virgin.

Bhagavad Gita gives answer to that. God says
"Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious practice, O descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of irreligion—at that time I descend Myself." 4.7
"To deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of religion, I Myself appear, millennium after millennium." 4.8
