No, it's not the best in the world.

If you're comparing pure style versus style, and all things being equal...Brazilian Jiu Jitsu dominates all others.

You can train Kuk Sool Win, Tae Kwon Do, even Muay Thai...train these for 10 to 20 years straight and as soon as you're on your back, all those years of training are gone.

At this point, someone with a solid 6 months training in BJJ would choke the hell out of you.

It influenced the world? I'm sure that there is some history about it in Korea, but as far as it influencing the world. I don't see anything significant. It is not seen often. There are not many Kuk Sool Won Dojang in the U.S. compared to other styles.

Impossible to answer unless you poll a large group of martial artists who have high grade blackbelts in all the major martial arts.

Therefore, you mst have been kicked in the head too often to think up such rubbish!

Just watch the UFC realise that punchers and grapplers beat each other all the time. If the event was only ever won by K S W practictioners then yes it would be. They don't and its not.

All martial arts are valid, some are cheesier than others but its all about how good/quick/strong/motivated the person is.

Peace!

PS, as a 3rd degree in TKD, i am sure I could kick your head in!

lol....hahahhaa...joking!

Well that is interesting, i'm personally 5th dan in taekwondo. This helps ur legs develop. I have only just started this martial art 3 years ago and i'm only a 1st dan. It is very good for using equipment, i.e swords. I would have to i it is good for using all techniques and i do say for people to try it. I can't say it is the best because i like the speed and agility of taekwondo. But it is my second fav sport.

All Martial ares are good.I'll give you some facts on some:

Taekwoondo uses 90% of Legs (Kicks)(Olympic sport).
Karate is hands and legs but its kicks and punches are sharp and cut (Sport).
Kung fu uses both legs and hands in a more flowing movement(Sport).
Judo is mostly graps and turnovers and falls (Olympic sport).
Muai Tai has legs ,hands, elbows and is played in a boxing ring.
Aikido has hand techniques and falls (Not a sport).

I personally train in Chapkoondo it's a mix of Kung Fu ,Karate,Muai tai and Chinese boxing(Sport).I also have Black belt in Kung Fu.
So there is no good bad or better. It's up to what each person likes and his body structure.
