Its Hinduism because 1 billion Hindus dont consider Buddhism as separate religion and see Buddha as one of the yogi of Hinduism.
So there is a very thin line which divides Hinduism with 1 billion followers and Buddhism with .8-.9 billion followers.
Together, Hinduism has some 1.9 billion followers.
