What do you want should live forever ? Is it this physical body called "Swati" which should never die.
Just imagine after 100years , in what condition your old fragile and diseased body would be with skin sagging unable to move w/o help, sight almost gone , having to depend on somebody for every litte thing ! How would you enjoy living permanantely with such a body which is decaying but without end.
Common sense tells as also history tells no body can live forever
That which has a begining has to have an end. That which is born has to die.The body came into existence it has to cease to exist some day.Everything physical is subject to change. Why even the mind and the thoughts are subject to change. In this world CHANGE IS INEVITABLE.
As long as you identify your Self with your body you will have such fears of death etc. of the physical body its existence , non-existence etc.
You say,'My head .. my body... my mind... my thoughts....'Remember they all belong to me but they are not 'ME'. " I " am different from them . I percieve this world with through them .They are my instruments." I " cannot be perceived through them.
Just as a ripe fruit falls off a tree so is the body discarded when it is no longer usable.
Once you realise 'Who Are YOU' all your doubts & questions will vanish.
But you can do so only in a desireless/thoughtless state of mind- reveal the core of your being to yourself.
Example: If Desires are the stones which we throw(allow or let) into the lake called Mind the ripples of thoughts created trigger off till they reach the fartherest bank(pushing into physical action)In such shaking water the reflection is blurred.Only calm & placid water reflects a perfect image.By reducing the number of thoughts to one single thought and then the gradual disappearance of even that single thouhgt tires the mind bringing it to standstill revealing your Self to you .Just a GLIMPSE of that reflection is enough ! Your inward journey ends here. Only a developed intellect can understand follow and experience this.
As long as you run hither & thither you'll never reach the bottom of the lake .You have to be brave enough to take a deep dive and plunge in to get to the core.

If you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior you can have eternal life in Heaven. There is however, no way to live forever on earth.
