Church is one place that you should be able to get these answers. Some churches are more open to Questions/Answers than others, some just like to preach.
You can also get answers from many other sources, your local library has books about many aspects of God. Simply study nature and the arts and you can learn more about God.
The key is to seek out answers to your questions, test the answers to see if they really make sense and follow your heart, it will always lead you in the right direction.

Not if you want the truth.

Look at the way the different religions bicker about which one of them is right. Even the various versions of the roman catholic faith that broke away that we refer to as Christians can't seem to agree on anything. Many of them teach that only their particular brand can get you back home with God. This is little more than warmed over roman catholic dogma.

How can this so-called religion they are promoting be the truth if they can't even agree amongst themselves?

The truth is out there but it can't be found in the confusion of organized religion. Religion is essentially a lie that people tell about God.

Jesus tells us that the kingdom of the father is within each of us. Religion tells us that He can only be found on a far off cloud called heaven or in a building called a church. Someone is lying to us, and I doubt if it is Jesus.

Maybe you should first go to your Bible. Where it actually says if you have a question ask God himself. But to learn from others church is a good place to start, the Bible itself recommends groups of believers in general. Remember a church is just walls and concrete, the people inside and what they learn from are whats important. You could ask questions to christians in \ McDonald's if you wanted too.

That's ok as long as you don't ask all those embarrassing questions that point out the absurdity of religious belief in the first place.
