I'm in the passenger seat wearing my sunglasses and we pass a guy riding his bike or walking, and he looks at me and smiles.
I have even had one wave and I didn't even know him,
the car isn't anything special so why do they wave?
is it because they like me?

Yes and maybe they would like to talk to you. See us men will wave at a beautiful lady and hope she waves back. And by your avatar pic you are a beautiful girl so guys will wave at you.

It's not only u that goes through this..i do also.
Most guys don't know who to show a girl they like them but they get to exited so they wave or smile to u.
Don't take it seriously just coz there interested, it's best to ignore hory as*s holes down the street.

no most likely trying to flirt have you ever heard the term MILF. some moms are so hott or pretty even at 40 that some younger guys would love to sleep with them. You sure they were not looking at your daughter.

It can be because of any reason. You may be attractive and an easy flirt, they may just be friendly, maybe its something on your face, or they do not have many friends or not know what to do
