Oh boy... I know how you feel.... It gets so exhausting and I understand... But, don't give up!!! I have a 6 1/2 month old Shitzu/Cava and this is what I do to him. I put a bell by the door and I trainted him how to do it. You have to bring him to the bell and lift his paw up and hit it and then say, "Go potty" and bring him outside, stay with him until he goes potty and make sure you praise him and give him a treat... Repeat, repeat and repeat!!! He'll soon get the hint that he has to hit the bell when he goes potty. This way when he hits the bell you'll know, "He's gotta go and when he does it it... Make sure you run to the door and make it urgent. This works very well for me and I hope it will do the same for you. Good luck to you and your dog.

It really depends on when this is happening. Is it at night when your sleeping or during the day when your gone? Does the dog have free run of the house? Perhaps you need to crate train. Dogs are den animals, and they will not go potty where they sleep so this may help get the dog used to holding his bladder longer.

If it is during a time your at home, maybe you will have to get on a schedule of automatically letting the dog out, whether you think he has to go or not. Try the website below:

I hope this helped a little. Good Luck!

put papers down where she pee's or does a poo once she does it on the paper tell her she is a good girl. but if she misses the paper tell her she is bad. but never hit her. and every 2-3 days move her papers to wards your main door. And at the same time take her out at set times of the day. and when she does a mess outside make a big fuss of her tell her what a good girl she is and reward her with a dog biscuit but only if she has done anything she get's the treat. this is what I done with my puppy and she was house trained by the time she was 9 weeks old. good luck with your new dog have

after peeing, place a newspaper on top of the urine and let it seep through the newspaper..later on, put the newspaper (with the urine) where u want ur dog to pee..do the same on the poop...

if this does not work, u could feed them near their pooping are (inside the house)..that way, they would stop pooping at that area

They say you should crate your dog and limit their opportunity to relieve themselves until it's appropriate. Most dogs won't foul their own nest, so you keep them there unless you can closely watch them and get them outside where they should go. Don't keep them in their crates for very long if you can avoid it. Praise them for doing their chores outside and chastise them for doing it inside. The more time they spend outside, the more likely they are to do it outside. Good luck, your dog has gotten a bit old for training.

Walk her on a lead. Praise her profousely when she goes outside. Treat her like a new pup. Let her out or walk her immediately when she wakes from a nap. Praise her when she behaves properly. (name, good dog...) If she makes a mistake inside, scold her -- name, NO, bad dog! -- then take or let her out and praise her as soon as she performs outside. Just retraining -- I suspect she hasn't had any at all.

Good luck

Grab her and take her outside when she starts going, then reward her, until she learns that that's where she's supposed to go.
