You changed your hair Rose. If i was going to get a dog any kind, It would be a full breed Collie. We used to have one, great dog, beautiful dog. I miss him, but i wouldnt mind getting a mini collie. Those look cool and they are as small as cats, best of both worlds.

I'm a lot more particular than just choosing a breed. Understanding blood lines and knowing just what to expect from each is paramount in having dogs that suit a persons particular needs.
My Lab is Muscle sire of Chief-sire of Soupey-sire of Gretchen-mother of Ginger-mother of Spook-sire of dove, who was the mother of my dog Meg. Truehaven Muscle belonged to James Lamb Free and is the dog illestrated in his book "Training YourRetriever" Which was first published in the 50s

DEFINITELY a BOXER...
WONDERFUL dogs!!!
Loyal
Loving
Animated
Not TOO big (approx 50 lbs)
A GREAT GREAT GREAT family dog- incredibly patient with kids
A sweetheart, but some people think is tough enough looking that if they come to the door with you, a stranger will think twice about entering.
People who HAVE boxers often repeat boxer ownership over the course of their entire lives...they are THAT good.
Oh, and they don't smell. People who have golden retrievers will swear by them- my brother has had two...but the oils in their coat, yuck! What a smell.
Boxers are short hairs- little shedding, no brushing and thus no grooming bills

The best dog you could ever hope to have is a mixed breed of unknown origin. The local animal shelter or pound is the place to get one. The dog that really, REALLY needs a home is the one that will forever be your friend.

I would choose a Golden Retriever cause they are such a lovably breed and full of love for you. well natured dog. full off fun too and I just loved his moods soooooooooooooo cute. Have a broader Collie just now love her too but the Collie's snap when they play with you and are very highly string

I love that mini breed Chihuahua (I don't know if that is the correct splling) - those mini dogs that can fit in a cup of tea :)
They are so cute and though theiir tiny size they are really brave!

I would choose a Border Collie - they are very intelligent and have personality - even though "stubborn".
BUT first I would look into an animal shelter - and find there the dog -more or less- I want!
