When kids are like 1,5-2 years old they start to ask questions about everything. What's this? What's that? etc.
You can't stop them. You can't tell them "You can't ask questions" It's instinct maybe. It's a way of learning about life and world.
So, if people were not allowed to ask any questions they would not learn/know anything about the world.

Everyone would be really clueless because no one would be able to further their knowledge by asking question. But at least no one would be addicted to yahoo answers!!!

i think it would be similar to living in a communist country. just obey...no questions ask! you are not allowed to think anymore because what's the point you are there to obey and not to ask!
