I believe in God because He saved my physical life when I was 7 years old. I ate salt on lemons, imitating my dad, that poisoned my kidneys. I was in a coma for 13 days. My family took me to Baptist Hospital when I first got sick and the doctors worked on me for 12 days then they told my parents to find someone who believed in Jesus Christ and have them Pray over me because I was going to die. My parents found someone that knew Christ and Prayed and asked Him to save and heal me. Christ did in a moment what the doctor's could not do in 12 days of intensive care. Praise the Lord. He is a loving God how could I not believe in Him?
I respectfully ask that you open you heart to Christ and Pray that He will forgive and save you.

I firmly believe in the One True God, the Creator of all worlds.
My religion is the Baha'i Faith.
The Bahá'í Faith is an independent world religion. With more than five million adherents residing in over 124,000 localities, the Bahá'í Faith is established in 204 countries across the planet. The spiritual principles of the Bahá'í Faith affirm its overall purpose--to bring about the oneness of humanity. In cooperation with these same principles, Bahá'ís also believe that there is only one Creator and that the spiritual truth of all religions is the same. From a Bahá'í perspective, The Bahá'í Faith is the most recent of the world's great religions. It forms the next link in a chain of important, divine teachings, a progressive revelation that places Bahá'u'lláh, the founder of the Bahá'í Faith, as the Messenger of God for this age.

Religion is one of many frameworks that can help you shape your life. When done in a sincere manner you can benefit enormously from believing. However religion consists of two parts: your own personal relationship with whom or what you worship and the institution that has been set up by man for the sake of ruling and regulating the behavior of its followers.
God is a concept to help frame values, norms and expectations. It is so powerful because human beings need a framework to give them direction, purpose and a sense of belonging. We need something or somebody to believe in. This deep human need is recognized by rulers and early on already they started using it as an instrument to control the masses. They decided to use the concept of a deity mostly in the form of a man who could act and punish. Then they built places of worship and make artifacts to look at and touch and set up charity to win over hearts and minds. All to secure devotion and channel behavior. For followers it was rewarding to belong to a congregation and many gladly started believing in the miracles that comes with being a member.
While in fact some say, followers believe in what their leadership tells them and mindlessly use the matrix that is set up for them. But hey, whatever it is, when it makes you feel better about yourself and the world? Many say it is wonderful.
One critical note though: rules and regulations were put in place which oddly enough still today entail serious restrictions for the regular folks while benefiting the leadership tremendously since they all seem to be geared towards helping them stay wealthy and in power.

Yes. I don't follow any religion. I understand that there is a greater force out there then you or me. Whether it be wind or tides, or love and hate, or just an idea of something that will comfort me in my time of death... It's something for me to always depend on. For me, God isn't man or woman, doesn't have a nationality, and can't be understood to our small minds. My God is the force that keeps everything in balance.

Sometime, I really would like to believe AGAIN in a God but then I look around at the world at all the pain and suffering and my desire to want to believe goes right out the door. I can't say that a higher power doesn't exist, but I can say that if one does it doesn't give a hoot about what goes on this planet.

Depends on what the definition of god is. God can be the power of all the elements of the universe working together according to the laws of physics. My religion is not yet named.
