I am living in the UK and am thinking about moving to australia or new zealand. Does anybody have any advice on how to go about it with regards to securing work over there and gaining visa'a etc.
I work as a Mechanical design draughtsman, is there any demand for poeple in this line of work over there??
At the moment it is just a thought but in the near future it could become a reality.
Any help would be appreciated.

Check out the Department of Immigration, Indigenous and Multicultural Affairs website for Aus. Has all the info you need about visa types, skills shortages etc.
Not sure about the NZ site.
