I give long answers, but they are always of my own words.. I like to get my point across. Like that I like cute bratty girls that speak their mind.. espically if they are over 18

You think that everyone who writes a "long answer" uses cut and paste?! If a person is doing that I think it's totally uncool and they should just post the link. However most people I've seen here who give detailed answers sound from the heart and in their own words. These are caring people. I appreciate if when someone takes the time to write me like that. It's a lot better than people that give those high school drop out two word answers that they have given no thought to because they don't really give a rip about answering your question anyway. If you ask a question here and a person answers you I think your gratitude is in order, more so than your complaining about the answer. And this was in my own words TYVM.

Hmm, I don't like that neither. There are both positive and negative reasons. Some people think pasting their answers will assure accuracy of the content of the response. Some think they will be praised. Other reason might be lack of English skill.
Still we should be tolerant though. We should apprecciate because they are looking up on the internet to back their responses, meaning they took your question pretty seriously.
Don't you think those responses are better than answers like:
1. You are idiot!
2. F*** you.
3. Are you mental?
4. Get a life.
5. I don't know.

I fully agree with you.
I often wonder how some people would "answer" if they couldn't "copy/paste". I am sure their answers wouldn't be as long as they usually are if they didn't have such an easy solution.
It seems very arrogant to me when people copy/paste very long answers. I read the first lines, and if I start to feel bored, I simply thumb down the answer so that it becomes hidden.
Then, I feel much better lol. I feel like I have neutralized an invader on my monitor. Then, I can pay more attention to sincere shorter answers.
I also feel bored by very long questions. But anyway, the question on top is supposed to be the main one, so if I wish, I answer to it without taking care of all the stuff writing in details of the main question.
I like people who can simply express themselves in an improved way, i.e. without a flow of words.
Those persons are word-addicted in my view. Most of fundamental Believers & Unbelievers are word-addicted persons, in my view.
Well, I hope my answer isn't too long - lol - but you are sure I haven't copied/pasted anything in it: it is 100% made in Axel-land.

That is the problem with religion...it has a tendency to make people NOT think for themselves. Every time they need an answer for one of life's questions they grab The Book. There is no personal growth here, no soul searching, no creativity--just paper and ink regiratation.

Thats true . People just copy snd paste without thinking about the questioned asked and forming their own opinion on it. Also peoples attention spans are so short these days . I mean do you really think someone is going to read one of those huge answers that go on forever ?
Good point!

I guess when people use the bible they think it's just backing up their point to quote from it. Like quoting from the dictionary or encyclopedia or William Shakespear, etc.
But, yeah, when they have a huge long answer with just plain quotations from the bible it gets a little annoying, especially since I have my own bible and can read it for myself. They should just think of leaving the references and call it good.

I totally agree with you, I prefer to give honest and frank answers no matter how long or short they may be.
People who just copy & paste (whilst trying to be helpful perhaps) are really just boasting that they knew it all along.
If they really did know the answer all along then why go back to copy & paste?
Good on ya!

Sometimes its easier to get the message right by Quoting .There are many people out there who believe that what ppl say may not be right, so quoting shows authenticity, shows its felt by others too and not just by oneself.

I agree with you, Brat. 100%!! One person put the same book length answer for several different questions that didn't even apply. He was reported for spamming.
