My christian parents didn't let me until I was 17 1/2 and I still hate them for it.

I think 16 is a good age if they are mature and trustworthy. There isn't any reason why you shouldn't be able to meet the person they are dating either.

Just let them date. You're putting to much emphasis on your religion. Don't let religion be the basis of your decision making...

give them free will.
but before, make sure you have teach them about relationship, sex, and responsibility.
If u teach them well, n u trust them, n they love u, everything will be okay.
