that's not an actual question that was a metaphor used in school. The point of the exercise is to see if anyone would note the point of god,or single cells that formed into an organism. If you believe in god than god formed the first creatures that then have evolved throughout time. If you believe in the big bang theory or the point of single cells that formed into the first beings then you have to look at what came first in the chicken family. Which i believe was a platypuses or something to that nature.
Through out time what ever it was it evolved into a chicken causing the eggs. So you have to wonder what came before the chicken or egg or even rooster as some poster stated. So if you believe in god it was him or her. If it was science what came before them in the chain of animals.

the hen came first there wont be any egg if the hen didnt lay it. And if it was the egg it wont live,but if it will it might not be a hen it might be a rooster. And the egg wont live without the hen.
