In actual fact the Quran does not mention stoning as punishment for that act.The Quran says a person must be whipped in public.To teach the person a lesson.
The stoning concept comes from the Hadith.That is where most muslim countries get there Sharia law from. Hadith are supposed sayings of the prophet, which means that the stoning part is a false punishment.

Neither. Its been around for centuries , since before the time of Moses. Islam just perfected it. And If you actually red the bible, you would find out that Jesus wasn't actually against it either, only when it was used asa punishment for fornication. its only ever been used against women anyway, in Islam.

i thought that was in the old testament, something like adultery of women, or non-virgin female sex= girl stoning. or if your kids mis behaved. i could've sworn that was the bible
