I hope you are not one of those people who does not believe in the historical accuracy of the Bible. The idea that the Bible cannot be viewed as an accurate historical source is absurd. Never has archaelogy uncovered anything that goes aganist what is written in the Bible. In fact, the oposite is true. For those who would say the Bible is not the Word of God, or that the Bible contains numerous errors I would say this: Paul could say in 2nd Timothy 3:16, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God." That's the Greek word, "theopneustos" meaning "God-Breathed." Every single word was given from God to 40 different men, and 2nd Peter 1:21 adds: "for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God." Now that was the Old Testament. The New Testament wasn't in existence when Paul used these verses. He was telling the churches in his letters what had happened in the past, but in John 16:12-13, Jesus talked about the coming of the New Testament. He says, "I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come."
That's the New Testamant. And we can say with John 17:17, "Your Word is Truth." Today, we have 66 books written by 40 different individuals on 3 continents covering a period of 1,500 years and there's not one mistake, regardless of what some of the critics say. They haven't studied God's Word enough to know the truth. Among the writers we had kings, poets, philosophers, prophets, scholars and fisherman. And I want you to know we have all of the Word of God today. Someone says, "Yes, but we don't have the original manuscripts" Who said so?
We have copies totalling 24,800. Now, how do we know that they're right? Well, if you take 20 items and you compare them and 19 state one thing and one doesn't, then the one is in error. We've got 24,800 manuscripts that exist today to compare one against another and we have another 80,000 quotations from the church fathers, enough to put the entire Bible together with the exception of 11 verses. Take the 80,000 quotations from the church fathers and the 24,800 manuscripts for a total of 104,800 and you have all of God's Word dozens and hundreds of times. This is so because God's Word is literally flawless. After computers have compared millions, or even billions, of letters in analyzing the 104,800 manuscripts the texts are basically flawless. So, don't listen to the critics. Believe in the Word of God. Give your life to Christ today.

Question 1: why so long after god "created man" he decided to have a angle in his name come down and tell a bunch of rules fo every human to live by?

Answer: Because god repeatedly commits the mortal sin of Sloth. He slacked off. Oh, and anyone that says he had to change it as fit, this goes against his ability to be omniscient.

Question 2: why is it that all these people beleive in this rule book what proof do you have other than believe and faith and hope and "just because"?

Answer: If I recall, it was the first religion to use any sort of punishment system. So fear of punishment for one. The other would be being raised around it. The belief is implimented so early that they take it as fact.

There is no proof at all. If there were proof then the entire system of organized religion would collapse and people would no longer need faith.

"Faith is a cop-out. It is intellectual bankruptcy. If the only way you can accept an assertion is by faith, then you are conceding that it can't be taken on its own merits." - Dan Barker (former preacher)

I imagine you will get people to tell you that they feel him in their hearts. These people disgust me because they think that no one else including believers in other religions and atheists such as myself can have feelings of peace or oneness with the universe without belonging to their cult.

They will say "look around" and just because they are ignorant of science they will claim that them being here is proof of god.

They might say that there are prophecies in the Bible..which is non-sense. All holy texts will claim to have prophecies and if you just scratch beneath the surface you will realize they they aren't prophecies at all.

The error is your expectation based on learned perception.

The "Bible" is a collection of books and began to exist after being agreed & voted upon in 326 CE. The "Bible" is not linear. There are some material facts, motovational information to operate satisfactorily for ones Spiritual & material development.

As far as my belief, I believe that there are some good things within it that that anyone can use for encouragement, inspiration, motivation, education, governing, emancipation, & behavior.

Using the Freedom of Choice, which implies Free Thinking and personal responsibility one can find verses that apply and those that do not.

When you open a banana, and parts of it are not to your liking, you consume the best parts & discard the rest. Take the part that is for you to take.

Practice taking the good of what you need.

Is this really a Bible question? I am unfamiliar with the "angle" angle (I assume you mean angel, but that ain't in there).

Sappy, but I believed best when I became a mom. I make rules for my son because I love him and want him to be healthy, happy and safe.

You know, like your earthly father makes rules? Not so he can delight in punishing you. Or hopefully your dad wasn't like that.

It's a pretty old book, written by 37 different writers over a few thousand years. Many archaological digs have proven the truth in the Bible in our time (before us, scientists said the "Hittites" never existed, for example).

Find an older book that is still the #1 best seller, and believe in that one. It's completely your choice!

This process of religion is slower than the social process.

God has sended angels in various parts of earth and in various religions.

Bible was written years after the death of Jesus, unlike Quran which was written in the presence of the Prophet.

Bible is not a complete book, unlike Quran. It is mentioned in the Bible that the last messenger naming Mohammed will arrive for the further guidance of the peoples.

Are you referring to Moses, Exodus, 10 Commandments? It is hard to tell; your question is a little murky.

The "rules" everybody seems to hate (Decalogue) were part of a covenant (we would say "contract") God made with the people of Isreal through Moses. YHWH would be their God, the Isrealites would be His people, etc. It was a relationship based on mutual agreement, that came with stipulations. This shouldn't be too hard to understand; modern contracts come with conditional clauses also.

YHWH did not demand "blind faith" from the Isrealites. He provided signs of His own existence time and again throughout the Exodus from Egypt.

If an Isrealite broke one of the "rules" (Mosaic Law), it was an act that broke the covenant and nullified the relationship between that person and God. Obviously, this happens all the time, because humans are weak -willed ninnies. Knowing the weaknesses of humans, God made allowances for people who would admit their faults and wanted to be "cleansed" (allowed back into the covenant), and set up a sacrificial ritual(s) to bring people back into relationship with Him.

I know how Scripture speaks to me in my everyday life. I know the power of the living Word of God. I can see and feel the revelation of God's unconditional love for all of humanity. The bible is God's gift to us as a guide to a loving relationship with Him and all mankind. Scripture strengthens my faith, encourages my hope and deepens my love. What more could I ask for?

What proof exists that people will answer your question if you have a grade one spelling level? No one has ever heard from an angle. Angels might speak to them, but never an angle. 98 degrees has told me nothing.
