if you think you have a medical issue go talk to your physician and ask for advice. explain everything, oh are you pregnant and your age puberty or menapuase. the problem is that it could a number of things. just dont rushed into getting a pill to fix you those things mess you up so make sure you are sure about whats going on cause even the proffessionals are wrong at times .

Its NOT split personality. In split personality, person switches between personalities and cant recall the incidents of the other "person".
You are just experiencing mood swings which occurs to lot of females. Are you in your teens? or in your late 40s? Coz during those times, the rapid hormonal changes makes the mood swing and you tend to become irritated or elated at no particular reason. If you are neither in teens nor in late 40s, then may be its just because of imbalance in hormones. Dont worry, show to a therapist or try to control your mood swings by meditating or just talk about your anxieties to a best friend.

my step son is bi polar. he has unexpected mood swings, trouble sleeping, hyperactive tendencies etc. we had to go to a psych. to be evaluated. the extreme mood swings are called a manic episode. adults tend to have some sexual problems(either over or no sex drive) and they tend to over shop. meaning they might spend way more than they can afford. get checked out, there are drugs to help. the first few weeks are harsh, but once it gets going in your system the change is amazing. dont wait, IF this is the problem it wont just go away, its a simple chemical imbalance in your brain its not your fault but it is heredity. so any children you have do run a risk. try doing a search on the net for bi polar disorder, they have lots and lots of info out there. chin up you are not alone i promise

Anybody can have mood swings, but if it's extreme, it's also possible that you have a hormonal unbalance, that you are bi-polar. Consult a doctor. If treatment is necessary, it could make a big difference in your quality of life.

it may be horomones, it may be depression. but I am Bipolar, and had the same things.... you may want to go see a therapist first, and discuss your moods and feelings. you may not want medication, there are other ways of treating it, like 'talk therapy'. but, bipolarism tends to be degenerative, and may lead to other mentaly unhealthy states....
Symptoms of Bipolar Disorder
Bipolar disorder differs significantly from clinical depression, although the symptoms for the depressive phase of the illness are similar. Most people who have bipolar disorder talk about experiencing "highs" and "lows" – the highs are periods of mania, the lows periods of depression. These swings can be severe, ranging from extreme energy to deep despair. The severity of the mood swings and the way they disrupt normal life activities distinguish bipolar mood episodes from ordinary mood changes.
Symptoms of mania - the "highs" of bipolar disorder.........;.
Increased physical and mental activity and energy
Heightened mood, exaggerated optimism and self-confidence
Excessive irritability, aggressive behavior
Decreased need for sleep without experiencing fatigue
Grandiose delusions, inflated sense of self-importance
Racing speech, racing thoughts, flight of ideas
Impulsiveness, poor judgment, distractibility
Reckless behavior
In the most severe cases, delusions and hallucinations
Symptoms of depression - the "lows" of bipolar disorder......
Prolonged sadness or unexplained crying spells
Significant changes in appetite and sleep patterns
Irritability, anger, worry, agitation, anxiety
Pessimism, indifference
Loss of energy, persistent lethargy
Feelings of guilt, worthlessness
Inability to concentrate, indecisiveness
Inability to take pleasure in former interests, social withdrawal
Unexplained aches and pains
Recurring thoughts of death or suicide
it may be something else, and you cannot diagnose yourself. first speak with a family doctor, and he may refer you. dont let him put you on ANY drug though, because if it is bipolarism, a regular anti-deppresant wil make the symptoms worse. you need to be referred to a therapist/psychologist. I really hope this helps hun... ive been there, and I really try helping people help themselves.... I hope all the best for you. :)

you could be depressed. When I get sad I read a book or write a story or go outside and night and look at the stars.
