yes that is true and also if you worry to much that means your faith is weak. i must admit i catch my self worring more then i should but God takes care of things for me the minute i stop worring and i just put it into his hands

I know what you mean. But I respectivly disagree.
There may a time come when they fear. But they can live a lifetime without fear.
Hebrews 11:17-19
People put their trust in different things. Some place faith in the Lord; others trust in themselves or another person. Faith can even be placed in relationships, money, or politics. Anytime we put absolute trust in something, we demonstrate faith. So, the question isn't, Do I have any faith? but rather, In what have I placed my faith? Looking at that question honestly will shake up your assumptions about your spiritual life.
An old saying explains, "Faith gives feet to belief." Simply put, this means that faith is the active expression of what you believe about God. If you have the idea that He sits in some far-off place called "heaven" and only halfheartedly listens to your prayers, then that will reveal itself in your day-to-day walk of faith. Your God will seem small, powerless, and disinterested. The result will be a string of seemingly unanswered prayers and a general sense of defeat.
If, on the other hand, you believe that God is right beside you, whispering in your ear, pouring out His Holy Spirit upon you - and that He is intimately familiar and concerned with the minutiae of your life - then such a belief will impact your faith walk. Prayer will be a joyful exchange between cherished friends, and the evidence of our heavenly Father's miraculous power will become commonplace in your daily life.
Weak faith says, "God can." Great faith says, "God will." But perfect faith - godly faith - says, "It's done." Your faith is your testimony.

You can't make a blanket statement regarding fear. There is such a thing as "fear of the Lord" and it is not the same kind of fear as one would have of a bully or some other earthly threat. Fear of the Lord is a genuine respect for His majesty Jesus even tells us who to fear:
[Luke 12:5] I shall show you whom to fear. Be afraid of the one who after killing has the power to cast into Gehenna; yes, I tell you, be afraid of that one.
My translation of Rev 21:8 uses the word coward, not fearful. That is a major difference.

Thank you for asking this. By believing in christianity I see a definite life of fear. How? Well, why do you not sin, and accept Jesus as your lord and savior? So you won't go to hell, right? Well, what's so bad about hell? It's painful as, well, hell. So, assuming you do not want this pain, you go to Jesus. He saves you from the pain. Is this not fear of hell? Though you may not fear it, you went to Christianity because of it (Or you were born into it, but that's not much better, since you're just believing something because everyone else around you did). Else, you can prove how it's the "right" religion, without citing the bible of course. Oh, and by proof I don't mean "he said/she said".

Sounds like logic twisted to suit your own ends to me...fearless people are fearless because they overcame their fear and it need not have anything to do with faith...many people of faith live in the most abject fear...If people live in fear it means something or someone is making them afraid and we all know that religion threatens the most horrible things...fearsome for anyone who believes such tosh!

Yes I think there is (may be) a good reason to fear God.
No I won't say why. I looked for the answer too long just to be giving it out. Ask me again in a few-to-several years.

What filth. Rev. is the work of religious fear-mongers to control the flock. Is this the kind of political message that God would approve? If so, this is really sick religion.

Amen! The only fear we followers of Christ should have is the fear of God.
Because other fear is from darkness and in Christ there is no darkness.
Amen Glory to God!!!
