However, I think that the majority of driving instructors are self employed or work as part of a franchise. Even if you join a union, they may not be able to help much if you get into a dispute.

I belonged to the Teamsters Union when I was teaching people how to drive school buses.It was the union that had control of the LAIDLAW school bus division in the state I was working.
