Usually an ulser takes 10 days to go away. Sometimes like the one you have gets so big and you may have to go to the dentist. He may put silver nitrate on it to clot it up ...and it hurts ....then takes about 10 days to go away.

You may have something else also depending on your life style. Be careful.

Try warm salt wate rinses and let it oooze over your lip.

The best answer is always prayer so I will pray for you...Your lips will feel so good that you will want to Praise God with them!

You can try Campho Phenique...it's made for sores in or on the mouth. It numbs it and treats it. You can also see a doctor and get Denivir...it treats cold sores. They typically take about 10 days or so to clear up completely. But...if left untreated...then can spread or get worse. I wish you the best of luck!

we get ulcers in mouth due to blood impurity build up over a long time. Its on and off when treated with allopathic medicines mostly steroids because it is incurable. You need to take ayurvedic (Indian herbs) medicines both oral and external application to get rid of it permanently. You need to consult a good expert of Indian herbs or me.

Mix Milk of Magnesia and benadryl syrup and apply to area. It could be more serious and consulting a health care professional would be a good idea.
