No. Sex in jail between straight men in prison is considered a convenience, not an intimate act. Some straight guys use sex with other inmates as a 'trade-off' for special treatment or 'protection' from others who want to bash them up.

Only if they were gay or even in denial about being gay before going in to prison...otherwise our sexual preferences or potential are fixed very early in infancy if not at birth. We all sit somewhere on the spectrum between exclusively heterosexual and exclusively homosexual with both those extremes being rare in themselves it's all part of normal human sexual variation.

i have no real personal experience of this but in my mind it is probably a way of contact with other people more than sexual, it would be like a comfort thing. i believe that many men probably would not admit to this outside of prison and would just get on with there normal lives

Not usually. It's within each living creature to do what's necessary to preserve their type. So some will take on a more feminine role and some become a more masculine roll. Once out of that situation, it's not necessary anymore.

whoa weird i was thinking that because i have an uncle coming out after 12 years and i just kinda got curious to whether anyone would bring it up or ask...but i dont think they do just cause in prison they do it cause they have no choice and when out they have a choice of women and or men...
