why should we live in fear of a man that is make belive and trust a book that we have no true source thats a real deal? if you live life to what makes you happy shouldn't that be all that matters?

What man do you fear? If you are talking about God, (He is not a man) I think you should focus on the New Testament and then you won't fear Him. Now about life, it isn't all about you and your happiness. There is a whole world of others waiting for you to help them, give a little of your time or talent to another human being. Then your mind and heart won't be centered on you, and you will see the true source at work.
I also think you posted this here because your soul is seeking the true source or a higher purpose .

Whether you believe in Jesus or not doesn't negate the fact that, historically, he did exist. You may not believe he is the basis of your faith, but historically he did exist. The bible, as well, is a historical document that was written hundreds of years ago and it too is real. Whether you believe it's contents or not is up to you but just know that it does exist.
You should live your life to be happy and all the best to you if you are truly happy! Happiness matters, of course, but so does sticking to your beliefs and respecting others' beliefs as well.
You certainly don't have to believe in anything you don't want to, but everyone should respect the beliefs of others.

nope...because their is plenty of proof that it is real. It is just a matter of finding out for yourself. Most people don't want to believe because they are afraid to. Also when you look at life you cant say that it wasn't created by someone. That is like seeing a painting and saying that nobody made it.

i am a catholic and i dont leave in fear. Thier was one man jesus christ and god. Well living in fear of a man who suposetlly died for my sins ( jesus christ ) I dont leave in fear. then thier is God creator of the earth i belive and i dont leave in fear of him eaither cause i know what i have done and i very well take anything that comes my way like floods, car crashes, death in the family, my friends dying, food, water, life, and anything that this earht gives me. I have enough fear to worry about with drug cartell members stealling my car or some one shooting me cause they wanted my two dollars in my wallet or somone deciding that it was more important to eat a ice cream cone while driving and crashing in to me totaling my suburban i just bought and getting screwed over with the insurance company that isnt going to give me a dime cause she wasnt wearing glasses and me not being able to sue her cause she had insurance that was liable for any damages that she caused. Thier is alot of other problems out thier to fear not god or jesus christ in return they are thier to help us through our problems, and some people say thier imaginary and stuff like this but hey we all need somone to turn to with aour problems even if its for comforting or any kind of condulance. Even if it is an imaginary figure it is still with you. for the bible part well i like to belive it happened because i belive in it. If thier is somone that belives different well that is thier business. I like the church thing and that is what keeps me going every day. May your family keeps you going or somthing in your life keeps you going or makes you feel happy i feel happy soing what i do and im sure you do what you do to feel happy and that may involve many things that i dont agree with but who am i to judge what makes you happy like the bible storry and the god and jesus thing make other people happy.

some ppl want to live forever...this life isnt a thrill compared to what we can have if we listen to Jesus.. We also have to think of ofthers too which is why He made rules...ppl who are born again understand why God did it this way to see if there will be obedience BEfore he gives the gift of eternal life..

fear? dude you talking non sense. there's nothing in god that make me fear only evil human being hahahaha. i know gods don't kill me. but human do. that is fear. to have a happy life is not all. you should have something meaningful otherwise it's a waste of living hahaha. we all have to die one day. have something so people could remember your name forever.

my way of living(being christian) brings me happiness, on the other hand if you choose to live with out God in your life, well that's your decision, hope you have a better excuse than that when you're before Him.
