I am a Christian living in an Islamic country. I don't understand why the Pope said what he said but for sure, his statement is proving to be a threat to the lives of many Christians who live as minorities in Muslim countries. No harm will be done to Europeans but what about us? What about our Christian brethren? Our churches will be attacked and so will we.
Another thing, are Europeans / Americans aware of their Christian brethren living in Muslim countries. If we are attacked for our faith...where should we go...should we tell America to help us?

I think alot of what the pope said has been misconstrued, the man wants peace across the world but Muslims seem uncapable of accepting any other viewpoint other than what is written in the Koran.
I do not envy you living in a muslim country is there anyway you can move back to the west? where exactly are you from originally?
I also didnt realise you were able to erect christian churches in islamic countries? so I think most of the backlash will actually be here in the west.
