You would automatically be a US citizen but your parents would get green cards.
My parents did this. They got green cards and eventually earned their citizenship years later.

The child does receive natural citizenship since he or she was born on American soil. The parents do not. Some countries will make you decide on whether you want to be a citizen in the US or a citizen of the country your parents are from. (The decision is actually up to the parents since the infant is too young to make decisions.)

Under the 14th Amendment the child is entitled to citizenship, and could receive it several ways. A parent could be entitled to legal status as a result of a citizen child.
That was never the intent of the 14th Amendment, but it is an effect of it.

Yes, the child becomes a citizen automatically. The parents do not, however.

Yes. Yes it does. Well, I believe it is if they are actually living here. If a pregnant woman goes to see a relative in the US, and she visits for, let's say a couple of weeks, and she is due soon and has the baby while visiting, I would say the baby would be a citizen of the country and state or province of the mother.

The 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees citizenship at birth to almost all individuals born in the United States or in U.S. jurisdictions, according to the principle of jus soli. Certain individuals born in the United States, such as children of foreign heads of state or children of foreign diplomats, do not obtain U.S. citizenship under jus soli.
The U.S. Department of State's web page (http://travel.state.gov/law/citizenship/citizenship_782.html) provides guidance on some citizenship issues including information on dual nationality, documentary evidence required to establish a citizenship claim, and renunciation of U.S. citizenship.

tHIS WILL BE UNPOPULAR AMONGST THE YOUNGER CROWD, BUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, YES THEY ARE CITIZENS. nOW THE BAD PART. WE SHOULD CHANGE IT TO EXACTLY LIKE OTHER CONTRIES, WHERE IF THE PARENTS ARE BOTH BORN IN ANOTHER COUNTRY, THE CHILD TOO IS ISSUED A PASSPORT FROM THE PARENTS COUNTREY OF ORIGIN. sOUNDS BAD FOLKS BUT ALMOST ALL OTHER COUNTRIES OPERATE THAT WAY. WE'D STOP ALOT OF BS IF WE DID THE SAME!
