Woke up with a sore throat this morning, don't have any cough medicine, although i am not coughing much at all and don't have any honey. Anything else that can provide a bit of relief?

dissolve aspirin and gargle it

some people gargle salt water or betadine (an iodine based antiseptic) in water

or you could go and buy some honey

You may be having allergies or drainage from swollen sinuses. Is your nose running? Stopped up? Claritin-D will probably help....just don't get the D if you have hypertension. Also, warm salt water gargles 3-4 times daily are always good.

Drink Ginger Tea.
Lime& honey.

Listerine will help kill whatever's making you sick.

A multivitamin w/ C will help boost your immune system to fight it.

Sleep and rest will let your body focus on getting you well.

I'm not jokeing here, vinegar try that mate, only a small amount, i use it alot, cider vinegar is even better if you have that?
