we went to the zoo ,and as we were entering the monkey house we could hear the screches and soforth of the various apes and monkeys ,to be expected aye
when we reached the chimp exibit there he was facing every one and loveing himself for all he was worth and sceching his litle chimp lungs out . i covered my sons eyes and led him away
my son asked was the monkey doing and why every one was laughing
how the heck dose one explain that

If you got this far without an explanation you probably don't have to worry about answering. If he asks you about it again just say you don't remember. If he keeps pestering you about it tell him the monkey was eating a little boy who kept annoying his parents.

If your son asks you what was going on, then simply tell him that the chimp was scratching himself and everyone was laughing because of the funny noises that he was making. As long as you make light of the situation, your son shouldn't make a big deal out of it. But if you keep avoiding it then he is going to wonder why and keep asking.

If your little one doesn't ask about it..don't worry...you can always say that the monkey had fleas and was scratching...that's all..simple and keeps the little ones' mind from having to absorb something to much for him lol.

tell him the freakin truth... they boy already knows that it feels good to touch himself... it's the only toy god gave him...
the monkey was making himself feel good, just like you do, son, but the monkey should have been doing that in private... we don't do things like that in front of others... well, maybe later in life.. lol...
