Since most christians regard christianity as a faith based on the concept of LOVE , and since most Christians loath descrimination and religious intolerence and respect human rights and feel regret for the horrendous actions of the colonial powers of the past. Then it would be hard to wage a crusade against muslim nation without waging an emotional/religious campaign to change the public opinion of chirstians . Isn't it a campign of hate similar to the campaigns launched by the Nazis against the Jews? Isn't the only purpose of such attempts is to provoke the muslims as much as possible, then record their reactions and display it in the media in a way that depicts them as animals worthy of being slain by christian forces in countries like Iraq, iran, etc?

The Pope quoted a thinker of an earlier, less tactful, age to say the following:
The key word in the Vatican now is "reciprocity". The leadership of the Roman Catholic church is increasingly of the opinion that a meaningful dialogue with the Muslim world is not possible while Christians are denied religious freedom in Muslim states.

Take it or leave it. We're not worried that you're going to contrive to be "offended" over our statement of our views. We, not you, have freedom of speech.

No, the recent Papal comments about islam are intended to facilitate resistance to muslim colonization of Western nations.
Since most muslims regard islam as a faith based on the concept of JIHAD, and since most muslims loathe justice and religious tolerance and disrespect Human Rights and feel pride in the horrendous actions of the muslim-supremacist aggressors of the past. Then it would be easy to wage jihad against Western or Hindu Civilization with no need to change public opinion of muslims. Isn't a campaign of hate similar to the campaigns launched by the Turks against the Armenians? Isn't the only purpose of such attempts to provoke civilized people as much as possible, then record their reactions and display it in the media in a way that depicts them as animals worthy of being slain by muslim forces in countries like Serbia, Ossetia, Darfur, Egypt, Israel, Iraq, India, Thailand, Indonesia, etc?

No, the Pope's comment is about the terrorist , but not the whole Muslim nation. But anyway, some of the leaders of Muslim nation are so fuzzy about anything they hear or written against them; they even put a prize to the head of whoever say something against Muslim, history reveals that they always heading for vengeance. It is just sad, because this is a free world, and they give nothing for forgiveness.

yes, it has gone too far.
everyone is blaming the wrong people for the wrong reasons.
your friends' son would still be alive if it wasn't for that clownmonkey Bush. it was Bush's decision to send troops into Iraq and soon enough, more young son's of America will die there because they are fighting a war that cannot be won by conventional weapons.
you are fighting an enemy who does not fight fair and does not care about innocent children. they will kill all who get in their way.
Bush is going to call upon more young men in America to fight for this war that is truely meaningless. Why do I say that?
because it will help nobody but his own buddies. All the contracts to rebuild Iraq will go to his golfing buddies and friends of Dick Cheney.
All your friend's mother will get for her son's death is a letter from Donald Rumsfeld saying how great her son was and it won't even be signed by him..it's a copy of his signature!!!
what an insult!
seriously, Bush is the problem.
those protesters are wrong for slamming the military..the military are just doing their job.
Bush is the problem because he's telling the military to go fight for something that doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
and what's worse is what's still to come.
Bush will draft more young men to fight in Iran in the next month or so when that war will begin.

This pope is not qualified for the job. He is a myopic self-centered, uncaring fool.
How dare he bash the islamic culture and countries, when he knows nothing of them? His complaints are spurious, intended to justify rape and pillage of arab lands by multinational oil companies and western nations.
It's the same type of papal communication that declared blacks as less than whites and blessed the concept of chattel slavery in the fifteenth century. He is taking the Church back to the Middle Ages.

islam (small 'I' on purpose) is not based on love, its based on total submission to what the child molester mohammed said was the word of God. muhammed got to write the Koran in a way which suited him at the time. It suited him to use God as an excuse in his tactic of subjugating the Arab tribes & taking their wealth to bolster his power.
The Pope (& I'm not a catholic) was quoting one of his predecessors ; funnily enough islam hasn't changed at all in centuries. They still murder those who do not agree with them.
