Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a tool that could be applied to practically any field. Much like mathematics is used everywhere.

Ever since the 60's computer engineerings have been working on various applications using AI. The most common examples are robotics and voice recognition.

Yes, there is a connection between architecture and AI. Basically any application that has repeatable or mechanical process can be benefited from using some shapes or forms of AI.

Yes, artificial intelligence can be used for almost anything. Certainly including design. It is not good at this yet, but could be some day.

I am an Engineer and I know that there is no connection between Architects and any kind of Intelligence. If Architects had build the Pyramids, the pointed end would have been down.

AI approaches all avenues of science and engineering so learning systems are used in arcitecture as in mechanicals and electronics and the whole engineering world
