is it true that the first atom bomb was developed and made in washington state?, if not then where?

Material for one of the first atomic bombs was made at the Hanford reactor in Washington State. The bomb was assembled in New Mexico.

You can enrich uranium in nuclear power plants. So Hanford provided fuel for the bomb.
