Thanks for your help...if you haven't already read it, i posted a few minutes ago about the size of my webpages on my website, www.kittiesinthehood.com
Its dedicated to street cat rescue.
I just reset my home page size and hoping someone can check to see if it fits in their browswer better now?

You will never be able to please everyone. It depends on what size they run their resolution.

We run ours at 800 x 600 pixels and no, it doesn't fit to the screen, but anyone running it at something else, it might fit. If you do it for my size, those with larger sizes will have so much bare space.

Actually, on looking at other pages, the writing is hard to read when you have to scroll across every time and some people won't bother.

Exactly where are you in Sydney? Our cat died this week and we are on the look out for new kittens.
