I didn't have a wonderful childhood (molested by a neighbor for years) but I turned out pretty nicely. Some people have had a great childhood, and have not turned out so well. I think it has to do with your own inner strength of character and how you work through what happened in childhood that makes the difference later on.

It all depends on the individual and thier abailty to deal with what happened. If they can accept what happened and move on they will be ok if not hook up with DR PHIL and cry your eyes out on national TV and hope he helps you while he makes his millions in the process. Is that to cynical?
